20 December 2011 Our client has formed LLP and two directors has obtained DPIN No. But as per amendment now DPIN alloted to director is converted into DIN no.But our partner of LLP is also director in other company and he has already obtained DIN there.so director has two DIN.please give me suggestion what i have to do for cancellation of DIN alloted by LLP by conversion of DPIN into DIN? And also what is procedure to intomate to the LLP about Changes in DIN no?

20 December 2011 I have faced the same problem and i visited this link

registered my compliant giving details of both DPIN and new unique DIN alloted and old DIN number and requested to have new unique DIN as old DIN only and it worked thought it took around 10 - 15 days for the same.

20 December 2011 I have make call on LLP helpline.and he has given me one number and told that make call on it and cancelled your DPIN Number and Register your DIN at llp site in associate DSC.Whether procedure recommended by him is right?

21 December 2011 Yes i had done the same thing. He had given one more number which was of DIN cell and he suggested to do the above mentioned process as they said that they cannot initiate cancellation of DIn except on a compliant.

20 January 2012 Please explain the procedure for the cancellation of din.its urgent.because i have to file form 8 of LLP.
