11 May 2015 Can a designated partner, after resigning as a partner, continue to remain a designated partner if mentioned in the LLP agreement?

11 May 2015 No. It is not possible. To become a Designated Partner, you should be a Partner first.

In short, all designated partners are partners, but all partners can not be designated partners.

If he has resigned as Partner, he can not be a designated partner (unless he is a nominee of Partner which is a Company).
