listing thorugh merger-demerger

nowadays there is a trend on listing the Company through Demerger-merger route. for eg: FUTURA POLYESTERS LIMITED AND INNOVASSYNTH INVESTMENTS LIMITED
can anybody tell me how this scheme works, timelimit, chech points, comliances etc.

06 August 2010 The process would remain the same as that of a normal demerger - merger.

The main requirement is that the stock exchange should give approval under clause 24(f). If the stock exchange committee allows such a scheme, then everthing else follows smoothly.
