I have a query that who can be a Compliance officer as to compliance with the clause 47 of the listing agreement.
can any other person other then CS be a Compliance officer. if yes.. ? is there any specified qualification narrated

There is no qualification mentioned for compliance officer. You can appoint either CS or any person as compliance officer.
As we know that if CS is appointed as compliance officer, it would always better for company as well as for exchange.

Clause 47(a)
· Appointment of Company Secretary to act as Compliance Officer & will be
responsible for monitoring share transfer process & report to company’s Board
of directors in each meeting
In view of thw above only Company Secretary can act a Compliance officer.
