Limit for payment and registration

Can any body tell me what is the limit of turnover for excise registration and payment of excise? Is it same as service tax?

After the turnover of 1.5cr you need to registration of central excise and do the payment. Under the reverse charge system manufacturer will liable to pay service tax.
