Dear Sir
We are manufacturing Industrial gases like hydrogen Liquide nitrogen. We have supply these gases to cutsomer throght Transport tank
One of the our transport tank met with accident.now we have write a letter to commissioner central excsie that we have not preparing invoice for supply due to accident.
Please guide how to write a letter to commissioner..

In gases system we have remove the goods on POD system .Invoice prepare after after actual quantity received.
We have FIR copy.

In My views you prepare excise invoic on full quantity 22920.and the claim the transit loss from insurance company.No excise duty remmission after goods clear from factory.The application for remission OF excise has to be made before removal of the goods from the
factory. There is no provision for granting remission of duty after goods are cleared
from the factory. Hence, remission is not admissible when goods are lost during
transportation of final product to the customers’ premises by unavoidable accident.Now need to pay excise duty on QTY.22920 and claim the loss from insurance company.no need to right a letter to excise dept.
