Do I have to again take a letter of undertaking from April 2018 or the previous one is valid ?

LUT usually valid for period of 1 year only, you need to apply afresh for every year.

Registered tax payers who export the goods or services will have to furnish Letter of Undertaking (LUT) in GST RFD-11 form on the common portal of GSTN in order to make exports without payment of IGST.
LUT will be valid only for 1 year.
