01 November 2014 DEAR SIR,
My friend got a letter from income tax department, Compliance management cell, new delhi in which it shows the subject (non filing of income tax return)that my friend has not filed return for the assessment year 2009-2010 onwards and on the back of the letter it is a chart like...
info sr. no. - f.y.- information code - information description (192A/B, tds return- salary to employees (section192)
Qu- my question is that after complaince on incometaxindiaefiling.com will this matter be solved or again he will get such letter or anything except this he has to do?

02 November 2014 As you said ur friend is a salaried person. Thus the tax on income has already been deducted by the employer in form of TDS. If there is no other income and any tax due on it then after complying with above he should ideally not get such letter again. But if the income tax dept is not satisfied with the response then they might send further notice.
