Dear Sir,
I have filed a manual rectification u/s 154 for an assessee, claiming refund of Rs. 65000/- and enclosed the copy of form 26as with the same.
Now more than 6 months have passed and I has not received any refund nor any rectification order u/s 154.
Please provide me format of a reminder letter for requesting to AO to issue refund as to earliest.

Visit to the Department.
Prepare a simple letter highlighting the Taxable income and the tax liability.
Explain the details of the Advance Tax paid/ TDS deducted enclosing the copy of 26AS and asking for the refund on the basis thereof.
Surely you would be getting the positive response from the dept.
