Due to clerical mistake pan mentioned in individual income tax return wrong now income tax department issued a letter and intimate to me penalty u/s 272 Rs. 10000/- and produce corrected copy of pan card with three day of receipt of letter.
Hence now you are requested kindly provide reply draft letter for saying gaminess of the facts to the income tax officer along with a appropriate case law if possible.

you need to write simple application that, due to clerical mistake pan has been mentioned wrong. and dont forget to attach last year income tax return with the copy of PAN and PAN intimation letter along with it.
