04 June 2013 The person is from west bengal and his mother died in January'13. He has to retuen file on behalf of his mother. He requires "LEGAL HEIR CERTIFICATE".can anyone provide me the format of legal heir certificate and from where we can obtain it. Pls reply asap

04 June 2013 Try with mandal revenue officer/thasildar, along with affidavit and death certificate. they will guide you on how to proceed . i found some application,

if it does not go with mandal revenue officer take some advocate help and file a petition for succession certificate in district civil court..
