28 April 2011 how to compute Average Salary for Leave Salary?
For example:if retired on 16-3-2011
10 months average salary from which date to which date?

29 April 2011 As per litteral interpretation of law, it says that average of 10 months salary immediatley preceding retirement.Hence we can consider the salary for the period continuosly back from 16-03-2011. i.e start from 15-06-2010
However it does not make much differnce if there is no salary hike in the last 10 months even if you start from 1st July 2010
