HI,
I cleared my ca final exam in May 08. My article ship will complete on April /2009. AS on today I ve approx 40 days of leave left considering 1/6 scheme. My CS final exam is in dec 08. I ve applied for 40 days leave but I ve been allowed leave only from 15 dec 08 onwards. I wanna know the consequences if I do not report to work from dec 1 onwards.
And secondly, I am considering myself getting a transfer. If at all I apply for it now, the firm will impose a 1 month notice period. Am I bound to comply with this?

Try to convince ur ca.
If u dont report to wrk from 1 dec , ur a may complain to the institute or increase ur leave.

It totally depends on Ur Partner (Firm) under whom u are REGISTERED.
If you do not report, he may charge u with excess leave taken if ur entitled leave as per ICAI rules is exhausted.
Better you convince ur partner.
