dear sir/madam,
my principal has surrender his cop 2 months and since i was on leave i was not aware of this fact, when i came to know about this i have written approval letter to icai regarding articleship transfer. Now i want to continue my articleship from back date so that i can give my may 2017 exams. Please help me.............

As your Principal has ceased to hold COP, you technically failed to continue as a trainee.
Your service period till your ex-principal help COP will be considered plus the period of service you continue under new principal will be considered for arriving at service put in by you.

back dated is not possible. Do it prospectively.
