Late submission of and process of income tax return

07 April 2015 Dear Friends I would like to have your advise on the below mentioned situation.

I filled one return of income but unfortunately i was not able to send the acknowledgement on time to Banglore.

I just want to know that will Department process my return. Because I have not received any receipt of acknowledgement and on the website of income tax same is available. But whenever i try to submit a request for the Intimation u/s 143(1) the website shows me the message that" No intimation available for this period.

Please advise me friends should i wait for the intimation or any communication from the department or resubmit the return.

07 April 2015 You can not re submit the return as the return filed by you has become defective return due to non receipt of itr v. You can send the itr v to banglore now as it department is not penalising assessee for the delay in receipt of itr v till now. This is the only option available with you.
