Late filling of return

the last date of filing return of 06/2012 is 25.10.2012 but that was sunday.i have filed return on 26.10.2012 .now my question is because last day was on sunday. so whether return filed on monday I.e. 26.10.2012 is within time ?

if 25.10.2012 is sunday then last date 24.10.2012
