18 August 2009 What is the last date of filling of income tax for 2008-2009. Will i be liable for fine if i file before March 2010

18 August 2009 July 31st is the last date, but you can file upto 31st march 2010..
If you have tax liability then you need to pay interest...
If its zero then no need to pay interest or fine, you file the return within 31st march...
