laeve period stipend

26 August 2009 as i m CA Final Student.

I am going for leave for my CA final exam preprations.

1) my query is do i am entitled to get stipend for such leave period?
if yes then under which regulation of ca act?

2) if i have taken excess leave which is over and above the prescribed leave as per regulation which is 1/6 of period served then such leave is entitled for extension.
so can this extension be settled off against my overtime?
if yes then under which regulation of ca act?

please quote the appropriate supporting for reference.

26 August 2009 1. it is payable, becz ca regulations provide for the monthly payments.

2. excess leave can be set off againstexcess work as per latest guidelines issued by icai last month .

29 August 2009 1. The firm has to giove u paid leave for 1/6th of period served.
2. U will have to serve for excess leave at the end of articleship and for which u will be not paid.
3. If your principal allows you to give credit for overtime than only you can set off the same.
4. But if you have worked on holidays than he has to give you comp off.
