13 June 2013 Dear Experts,

we are the company having regular employee around 1000 and contract employees ranging from Consultants, Trainees, others..

My question is whether PF and PT ( Co situated in Bangalore) applicable for Consultants or not? If what under what sections?

13 June 2013 Could you be clear on the nature of employment of consultants / trainees / others in your company.

Are they paid directly by your company or
their salary is paid to an head hunter?

Thanks for your mail.

Employees would be paid directly from my company. We don't have any outsourcing concept here.

In fact offer letter would be issued from company saying their remuneration etc..

All three PF, ESIC & PT would be applicable to your consultants, trainees & others.

PF & ESIC are common for all the states.
PT as per your state laws.
