KYC requried in bank

Is there any guidelines of RBI or bank itself , to stop the customers saving account directly without any intimation for not updating KYC ?. He has never received any intimation to visit bank for update KYC . Your Valuable reply is requested .

20 August 2023 The bank need to intimate the same with a registered post or via email or messages as per bank records otherwise it will be unfair for the account holder and the account closure can be challenged in the cout of law
