Jurisdiction of the assessee

04 January 2014 a assessee having PAN of delhi jusisdiction and shifted to haryana. Can he file ITR with old Jurisdiction by giving address of his any relative in Delhi or giving his new haryana residence address.He wish to continue with old jurisdiction i.e. at new delhi.
PLEASE GUIDE PROPERLY

What happen if the assessee filed ITR with old jusisdiction as at the time of filing of online return there is no option to choose jurisdiction and only PAN is reuired for ITR online filing. Ward/Jurisdiction will shown by the system itself only according to PAN jurisdiction.

04 January 2014 The jurisdiction of assessee is decided by it dept and assessee do not have any choice in this regard.

Acordignly new jurisdictional AO will handle your returns.

04 January 2014 when offically the jurisdiction is changed first assessee will be informed by it dept and till that u must file to old jurisdictional ao only.

You must intimate the old juridictional ao that you have changed your address and accodingly they will make suitable arrangement of transfering your case to new AO having jurisdiction over you.
