Debit: Cash (or Bank)
Credit: Loan Payable (or Secured Loan Payable)
If the company needs to accrue interest over time, make entries periodically:
Debit: Interest Expense
Credit: Interest Payable
Debit: Cash (or Bank)
Credit: Loan Payable (or Secured Loan Payable)
