Joint bank account -two person's

Dear All,
A business man is having joint bank account with his wife.Business proceeds and his wife's salary both are coming to same bank account.Wife is using passbook for cash withdrawl and husband using ATM and and cheque book.Wife is having consultanch income also.
Both persons want p&l and balancesheet.What is the bank balance need to be shown in the either books as on 31.03.2014?
