If we are repairing any item of the customer and we have received the item for repaire against Challan 57. At the time of repairing we are using major raw material.
can we charge excise duty in the Invoice of above repaired item.

better to bill the both ends seperately
i.e suppy of spare parts with ED ------1st part
repair and maintaince of goods sent under challan 57F4
as combination will amount re-manufacture and will involve you as deemed manufacturer of such goods, with full duty on whole machine.
