Itr-v failed to sent to cpc in time

sir, i have filed INCOME TAX RETURN ON 22/08/2014 BY CLAIMING OF REFUND.BUT MY CLIENT FORGOT TO SEND ITR-V TO CPC TILL NOW (120 DAYS LAPSED).CAN HE SEND IT NOW? OR IS THERE ANY PROCEDURE IN THIS REGARD.PLEASE GUIDE ME.THANKS INADVANCE.

Time limit to send signed ITRV to CPC banglore is within 120 days from the date of filing its return. If you had not send it within the prescribed time frame, you may get reminder sms and email from income tax deptt.You may send it as soon as possible to avoid penalty and make your return processed successfully. Until CPC get your ITR V, they are not supposed to process it.
