10 January 2016 dear sir, i have filed my client return on which tds has been deducted and which amounted to refund for ass/yr 2015/16 but i have failed to send the itr v to cpc bengaluru within 120 days so what to do to claim refund please let me know thanks

11 January 2016 do file revised return and send both itr-v to Bangalore

try to e-verify your return to avoid sending it to Bangalore CPC

11 January 2016 U must have received notice for sending itr v by 31/01/2016, check your mail box

11 January 2016 evc is possible only through netbanking in case of refund but our client is not aware of net banking and does not use netbanking

11 January 2016 You have to file a revised return to get the refund. In case of refund you can e verify return through aadhaar OTP also. Even if u r nt able to e verify return, send the ITR V of revised return to CPC bangaluru through speed post within time limit.

11 January 2016 Revision of it return is possible only if you file the original return within the due date.
If yes, you can revise it.

11 January 2016 In case the original return is e filed, u can revise the return even if the original return filed after due date. Although not allowed u/s 139(5), however, revised returns are getting accepted and processed at CPC even if original return is not filed within due date.
