20 July 2013 if original return is filed and acknowledgement generate ,but there was mistake in return
Can i rectify this error?

Can revised return overwrite original return?

20 July 2013 Yes you can file a Revise return Subject to the fact that the original return must have been submitted within due dates.

20 July 2013 when did u filed your original return u shoud check that.
is should have been filed within 31.7 of rel AY or 30.9 of AY as the case may be, then only he can file revise return.
