10 June 2013 Dear Sir,

I have filled returns for the AY 2012-2013, but my signed document is not received by CPC, so when I contacted CPC @ Bangalore in last week of may 2013 I got to know this info.
So they have asked me to resend the signed copy and I sent it on May 26 2013, but now the status in my login says as ITR V rejected.

Can you please help me here.

10 June 2013 YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER 15 DAYS OR SO SO THAT YOUR STATUS GETS UPDATED AND IF AFTER 15 DAYS AGAIN YOUR STATUS DOES NOT GETS UPDATED THEN AGAIN SEND YOUR ITR THROUGH SPEED POST.

10 June 2013 ITR-REJECTED..

It may because you have not submitted your ITR-V to CPC with in 120 days from the date of e-filing of return.

if it is already exceeds 120 days from the date of filing of return previous return becomes invalid.

File return again,sign with DSC or ball pen and send to CPC bangalore, only through speed post.

Ganesh - Yes it is for year 2012-13 and already exceded 120 days - do you want me to wait for 15 days as suggested by richi or go ahead and file again?

10 June 2013 No need to wait as it is already exceeds 120 days from the date of filing of e-return ,the return becomes invalid

So do file return again ,sign only with ball pen, and send that ITR-V through speed post onlY to CPC with in 120 days

11 June 2013 SRINU I DONT THINK YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FILE A NEW RETURN AS THE E-FILING WEBSITE WILL SHOW THAT A RETURN HAS ALREADY BEEN FILED.
I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE ADVISE ON THE BASIS OF MY OWN EXPERIENCE. REST IS YOUR WILL..

11 June 2013 I WILL AGAIN ADVISE YOU NOT TO RESORT TO FILE A REVISED RETURN. JUST STICK TO YOUR ORIGINAL RETURN AND SEND ITD AN ITR V IF NO CONFIRMATION IS RECEIVED IN 15 DAYS.
