06 May 2016 Dear Sir/Mam,

My wife is giving private tutions at home and I want to filer her IT return for the year 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Which ITR form I should use? Secondly, her income is less than 2.2 lacs per annum do I really need to file IT return? And one more thing I need to draft her return using the IT software available on the incometaxefiling site, can you tell me what are the things which I should not do? Lastly, I also want to state that this is the first time she is going to file the return as someone advised us to do so as it is very important, also let me know the benefits of filing return of her when she is not eligible for any tax.

06 May 2016 ITR 4 is for tuition fees income and you can file as voluntarily return for both years. you have to file return by knowing all section relates to your profession. Yes it is important to file return.

06 May 2016 can you please let me know the sections? I was going through the ITR 4 and it has a mention of Balance sheet and Profit and Loss Statement. What i need to do for these sections? It is bit complicated...please help

07 May 2016 It is advisable that take any Tax Professional's service for Income Tax Return Filing. It is not cup of cake for every one. And this portal is for Tax Professional, not to teach.
