Whether it is compulsory for a religious institution to get registered u/s. 12A/12AA. Also Please tell whether audit is compulsory for a religious institution.

20 February 2016 If religious trust want to get the exemption of sec 11 and 12 it must have to registered u/s 12AA . AND IS GROSS RECEIPT OF TRUST EXCEED THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT NOT CHARGEABLE TO TAX ie 250000 audit is mandatory.
