My friend working in school and he received salary by cash of Rs 28000. He want to file ITR.
which ITR to be filled ?
Please guide.

10 December 2020 If salary is only source of income than there is standard deduction of Rs. 50,000 on income from salary. ITR -1 is applicable for only salary income.

10 December 2020 Salary received in cash with out salary slip. Can I show in ITR 1 .

10 December 2020 Yes, Fill details in form appropriately. As per section 269ST limit is of 2 lakhs. For, employer that expense is not deductible under section 40A(3).
