HI CCI experts, can anybody help regarding this issue.
ITR for AY 2010-11 was filed and eligible for refund, but all documents supporting(retutn copy, acknowledgement) that return for AY 2010-11 was filed were missing, hence date of return was unknown. ITO is asking date of filing of return to process the refund.
In this situation how can I claim for refund. Is there any solution for this issue.
Please help me.

Request for a copy of your filed return dfrom your jurisdictional Assessing officer. Provide him with a Police general entry for loss of your files or papers.
