ITR 2 Instead OF ITR 1

25 July 2010 Hi , i filed IT returns of my dad who is in receipt of Salary income but no House property Loss . Instead of Using ITR 1 , i filed it Using ITR 2 . What are the repercussions for the mistake i did ? and what can i possibly do to rectify the same other than a revised return ?

25 July 2010 ITR 2 can be filled instead of ITR 1 but vice versa is not possible. ITR 2 gives more details so there is no problem in filling ITR 2.
