WHAT ARE THE ITEMS CAN BE KEPT IN A RETAIL DEPARTMENTAL STORE ?IS THERE ANY SPECIFIC GUIDELINE UNDER GST ?

No such specification guideline under GST. Just that you need to make sure your billing software contains proper GST rates for each of the product based on HSN classification.
