Dear sirs, i have filled my return of income in the AY 2011-12 after that i didn't file my return as my income was below taxable limit. Now in the AY 2017-18 i would lile to file my return. Can i file my return of income for the said AY?

Yes you can. In the earlier years you were not required to file income tax return.
My advise to you would be to file the income tax returns every year even though you have income below taxable limit, because it helps you to get loans easily. File Nil income tax return.
