05 December 2013 Can any one clarify me One my client has not filed his income tax return for the A.Y 2011-12 for which no tax was due.Now there is a option to file the return. Thanks in advance

06 December 2013 As per Sec 139(4) the latest option was filing by 31.03.2013. Currently there is no option as even if filed it will be defective. Wait if he gets a notice for non filing of return reply to the notice by filing the same as an answer to that notice.
