03 December 2011 IN case of Non crdit of TDS in 26 AS so how assesee will claim IT refund and whether he will claim with Form 16A with Affidavit of Rs.10 Stamp with Income Tax return. ID yes so please share draft Affidavit of Rs.10 Stamp.and provide me full procedure in this case.

03 December 2011 You can not get the refund untill and unless the credit is appearing in 26AS. Therefore request the TDS deductor to upload the details of TDS made. There is no use of filing affidavit because computerise system does not allow to give credit untill & unless appearing in 26AS. Therefore do not waste the time and request the deductor to file TDS return.

03 December 2011 There may be two reasons for not showing credit in 26AS. Your TDS deductor must have quoted your PAN wrongly while filing returns. Since you have not mentioned the date of deduction, TDS deductor has not filed the return so far.

You approach TDS deductor by giving correct PAN of yours for refiling so that TDS amount will reflect in your 26AS.
