issue in PAn Card

18 January 2011 One of my Land load who’s TDS was deductable from his rent where he had given this individual PAN Number AAAAA1234B, now he want to give the another PAN number on his name only but this PAN number allotted under HUF.

Please let me know can I deposit his TDS in his HUF pan number instead of individual PAN Number. The same access has two pan number one in the name of individual and another in the name of HUF.

18 January 2011 You have to check whether house in part of HUF or not. If house is property of HUF, then you can deduct tds on rent on HUF PAN and You should also to issue cheque of rent in favour of account of HUF, not invidiual.
