Is there any rule on how much cash payment can be made and where it can be made

There are different rules in many places like I want to know how much in salary, to whom in cash payment, or in jewelry, vehicle purchase, etc., is there any such rule or not as to who has to pay how much.

In general cash expenditures above 10,000/- are not allowed under business, while for all persons any amount of Rs. 2 lakhs or more is punishable under sec. 269ST of IT act.
