Is schools liable to pay income tax, and under what sections it can claim exemption and deduction available to them under income tax act?

23 November 2011 Can u pls tell me, whether u r school, register wit ROC, Firm, Trust, etc.

If ur school register with society act, then it come under non profit organisation, and have to apply for exemption certificate from IT exemption circle.
