For E-filing of ITR-6, is registration of digital signature certificate is mandatory for all ?
I mean.. I have heared that its required only for PAN bases DSC & not for Name based DSC. Is it true ?

Yes registration of digital signature certificate is mandatory for all before filing any ereturn with digital signature.

Without registration it is not possible to digitally sign ITR

ITR - V is acknowledgement for return efilied without digital signature.
ITRs are filed with digital signature.
