06 November 2009 I am going to appear in IPCC - May,10(both Groups)
Please suggest the study material i must refer to for self study.( Acc, Adv Acc, Costin, FM, IT & SM, Law, Tax, auditing)
and can someone explain about scanners - i mean are they just previous exam papers or are they solved? and which one i should refer to..???

06 November 2009 For practical questions you must do study material and past examination questions first. And in Theory subjects, prepare Auditing and It from Study material.

06 November 2009 Thnx Balasubramanya Sir and Taranjit Sir.. an expert recently told me not to use solved scanners..!! as it may misguide!! is it so???

06 November 2009 Nothing like that to be misguided by solved scanner. But it is possible that in subjects like Company law or Income tax which are amended with new provisions or changes in sections. Some old sections which are deleted or by mistake any answer is given by old provision. But its is helpful for guidance becoz u can easily come to know the right answer or hint, which u can read from book. Or to read some extra questions which sometimes are missed by books but asked in exams..
