Ipcc direct entry registration and time of articleship

I have send application for CA IPCC registration by direct entry on 15th july 2013 but still have not got the SR Number from SIRC Chennai. Can you please let me know when I will get my registration number. I also want to know as to the time needed to complete the article ship. Is it that we have to complete the article ship of 9 months from the day we join in the firm or the enrollment date. I would like to write the exam in Nov 2014. Will I be able to write in Nov 14 after completing 9 months of article ship

27 August 2013 you contact icai and ask when they can provide valid SRO number

i think you have some time for completing 9 months,,i think shortly you may receive SRO number and if started articleship you can go for nov2014 attempt
