It depends upon your 1) Intelligence 2) Time Availability 3) Need of finishing in short time.
But as per my view, ipcc syllabus is vast and need more time to study. If you are an average student and there is no pressure to complete earlier, you can go by one group. But giving both groups have some pros i.e. carry over of excess marks for aggregate etc., think twice before decide. ALL THE BEST!
