22 October 2010 i am a student of IPCC. my question is that: can we give group 2 of ipcc before group 1 ?
group2 has subjects:advanced accounting , IT-SM and auditing.
does group1 accounts and group2 accounts have any connection or similarity ?
because i have not studied group1 accounts and want to do group2 first.

please help ASAP

23 October 2010 Yes you can give group 2 exam first.

Chapters like Amalgamations and Accounting Standards have connection with Group 1 Accounts.

If you clear only Group 1 of IPCC, you will be eligible for doing articliship. But whereas you clear Group 2 without clearing Group 1, you will not be eligible to do Articliship.

23 October 2010 hey thanx for the info.. and is dere a huge connection..?? as in.. can i learn the two topics while taking group2 tutns onli..?
and one more thing. can i take group1 accounts and group2 accounts together.. ???

24 October 2010 Yes u can learn both the topics together..

Together in sense?

Both are separate papers belong to separate groups.

You can give individually, but attending only 1 paper from 1 group is useless as even if u get exemption in that papers it will not be counted.

24 October 2010 NO...u interpreted it wrong.. i meant.. if i take accounts and advanced accounts tuitions together.. like MWF : accounts.. TTS : advanced accounts. would i be able to cope up and understand ??? please tell. i will be taking tutns@ praveen sharma sir.

25 October 2010 Yes you can take tuitions for the both the Accounts together.. It will be continent in understanding..
