02 June 2017 In case of supply of taxable as well as exempted goods together do we need to raise seperate invoice for taxable as well as exempted supplies or we can raise a single tax invoice for taxable as well as exempted goods.

02 June 2017 As per invoicing rules under GST, we can use one or multiple series of the invoice number. So, in my opinion, you can use separate invoice series for taxable supply as well as exempted supply.

02 June 2017 It is not compulsory to issue a separate invoice for exempt goods and taxable goods. It depends on the need of business.

As per rules "a consecutive serial number not exceeding sixteen characters, in one or multiple series,
containing alphabets or numerals or special characters hyphen or dash and slash symbolised as “-” and “/” respectively, and any combination thereof, unique for a financial year;
