Intimation Under Section 143 (1) (i) (ii)

27 March 2011 I am a Govt employee,I filed the return of income for AY 2009-10 with tax payable of Rs.6185 and TDS as per Form 16 issued by Railways was Rs.6798.
So there was a refund of Rs.613

Now i received a intimation U/s 143 (1)on 3 feb 2011 stating TDS as Rs.4635 and demand of Rs. 1550.

But my TDS deducted as per form 16 is 6798.

What should i do in this case?

27 March 2011 you are right what u received (Form 16) but dept. also right abt what they have ?
what you have to do is, contact your railways dept. and inform them about the intimation received by you as demanding bcz of less tds reflection which was shown is your 26AS. see below site and register to know the tds credit.

and also tell them (railway dept.) to do correction of your tds deduction mistake.
