Intimation u/s 245

16 November 2011 I have received demand notice u/s 245 from income tax department today demanding tax payable related to A.Y.2007-2008 & 2008-2009 as per section 143(1)..
The self assessment tax was duly paid in those years..
However. filing online rectification u/s 154 was not possible in those years...
How do i respond to this notice now?

16 November 2011 It has already mentioned in the notice. You have to get rectification done through ur concerned assessing officer.
