Respected Experts,
I have received only refund cheque from IT dept without any order. Therefore I am unable to traceout the short amount of refund. I have electronically filed my income tax return.
Pl tell me the procedure how to get the intimation from dept. so that I can confirm the working as well as tax credit allowed by dept.
Why the dept is not sending the orders with refund cheques?

check your email account which is joined with you e filing account, department has sent intimation u/s 143(1) in that account.

Also u can check the intimation u/s 143(1) by logging in into the website of Income tax. You can check the "MY ACCOUNT" service on Income tax site and check the E-Filling processing status. There you can find your intimation of refund.
