Intimation u/s 143 (1) for the assessment year 2008-09

24 August 2013 i have received a intimation u/s 143(1)(not assessment order)for the assessment year 2008-09 on 23/08/2013. amount is payable in the intimation u/s 143(1)of Rs.7650/-. whether intimation is valid or not? and whether amount will be paid or not?
please advice about this that what should be done by me?

24 August 2013 You need to refer with the income tax return filed with that Assessment year and check with the intimation received,,if department claim is correct pay tax as ordered,,if department is any mistake do rectification
